How to create EaseUS Partition Master bootable CD/DVD?

Why need bootable CD/DVD?

EaseUS Partition Master enables you to create bootable CD/DVD to manage hard disk partitions when your Operating System fails to boot or resize the primary drive to reinstall other Operating Systems or even manage partitions on a computer which has no Operating System. There are two ways to create EaseUS Partition Master bootable CD/DVD: create WinPE bootable disk and create Linux-based bootable disk.

WinPE bootable disk VS Linux bootable disk

EaseUS Partition Master WinPE bootable disk allows you to manage your hard disk partitions just the same as you do under Windows. However, a lot of functions are not available in Linux bootable disk, such as copy dynamic volume, convert dynamic disk to basic, display drive letter and etc. So we highly recommend you use WinPE bootable disk to manage your hard disk partitions. Tips: WinPE bootable disk is provided in all commercial editions: Professional Edition, Server Edition, Unlimited Edition and Technician Edition, while Linux bootable disk is only provided in commercial edition: EaseUS Partition Master Professional Edition.

How to creat WinPE-based bootable disk?

Tips: Be sure that you have a CD/DVD-Recorder and a CD/DVD-R/W or USB drive which can be written.

1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master.

2. Select "Tool" from the menu and select "Create WinPE bootable disk"

3. Create bootable disk of EaseUS Partition Master.

Tips: If you failed to create bootable disk, please export ISO file and burn it with your own burning program, such as free burning software - BurnAware.

4. Run EaseUS Partition Master from WinPE bootable disk.

How to creat Linux-based bootable disk?

Tips: Linux-based bootable CD/DVD CANNOT support hardware RAID, GPT disk and CANNOT resize Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 system partition. If you use RAID drives, we strongly recommend you create WinPE bootable disk.

1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master.

2. Select "Tool" from the menu and select "Create Linux Bootable disk"

3. The bootable disk has been successfully burned.

Notes: If you encounter any problems in the function, we suggest you may directly create a bootable CD with your own CD-burning program, such as free burning software - BurnAware. You may locate a file named "image.iso" in the "bin" folder under the installation directory.

4. Change your BIOS settings. Press "Del" when you are restarting the computer. Move CD-ROM Drive beyond Hard Drive. Press "F10" to save and exit.

5. Then you can enter EaseUS Partition Master without Windows supports.

Tips: Since you may not see the drive letters with the Linux-based bootable CD. If you are not sure about the partitions, you can browse your disk by the Explore Partition utility. This feature allows you to explore partitions on your hard disk. Each partition can be identified before you perform any operations, so you don't have to worry about mistaking the partition to be formatted or deleted.
