Partition Recovery Wizard

Complete Recovery

This Wizard is designed to recover deleted file or recover lost data from formatted partitions, drive with crashed file system, raw drive or recover data lost due to unexpected shutdown or any other unknown reasons.

To recover data from a partition:

1. Click Partition Recovery Wizard --> Complete Recovery.
2. All the partitions found from your Hard Disk will be listed. The partitions are arrayed by the drive letters. If the partitions did not have drive letters, they will be listed at the hindmost and the drive letter will be placed by "*".
3. Select the formatted partition from which you want to recover data and then click "NEXT" to begin "Intelligent Searching".
4. After this scanning is finished, partitions which data are possible on will be listed. Choose partition (s) to recover the data. The Complete Recovery will launch the "Building directory" procedure to search the files.
5. Select the file or directory that you want to recover.
6. Choose a location to save the data.

Tips:

  • In step 4, you can choose 4 partitions at most to recover data from. We recommend you to choose the partitions with "High" suggestion, which show as green. If it does not recover the data you needed, please try other suggested partitions.
  • If your device is not found on the list, please click "Refresh List" button to make the device seen in the list or verify whether the device is properly connected or else, there are some hardware problems with the device.
  • This module is unavailable in EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition.

Partition Recovery

Partition Recovery is used to recover data from accidently deleted partitions, lost partitions.

To recover data from deleted/lost partition:

1. Click Partition Recovery Wizard --> Partition Recovery.
2. You can see the list of all hard disks. Choose the hard disk you want to recover data from.
3. Partition Recovery will do a "Quick Partition Searching".
4. After searching, found partitions will be listed. Select the partition you want to recover data from.
5. After this scanning is finished, partitions which data are possible on will be listed. Choose partition(s) to recover the data. The Partition Recovery will launch the "Building directory" procedure to search the files.
6. Select the file or directory that you want to recover.
7. Choose a location to save the data.

Tips:

  • In step 3, if "Quick Partition Searching" failed to find any lost partitions, Partition Recovery will automatically run "Intelligent Searching", which will take a longer time. If "Quick Partition Searching" finds partition (s), however, the partition(s) you want to recover data from is not found, please check the box before "Full Scan" above the listed partitions and then click Next to do "Intelligent Searching".
  • In step 4, you may identify the partition you want to recover data from the capacity and the file system.
  • In step 5, you can choose 4 partitions at most to recover data from. We recommend you to choose the partitions with "High" suggestion, which show as green. If it does not recover the data you needed, please try other suggested partitions.
  • If your device is not found on the list, please click "Refresh List" button to make the device seen in the list or verify whether the device is properly connected or else, there are some hardware problems with the device.
