The ext2 and ext3 file system are commonly used by the Linux kernel. Ext2 was the default file system in several Linux distributions, including Debian and Red Hat Linux, until supplanted more recently by ext3, which is almost completely compatible with ext2 and is a journaling file system.
Now partition manager software - EaseUS Partition Master can support ext2 and ext3 file system under Windows Operating System. It can create, format, delete, wipe ext2/ext3 partition and recover deleted or lost ext2/ext3 partition.
To create a Linux ext2/ext3 partition:
1. Choose right edition of EaseUS Partition Master and install it. After that, launch EaseUS Partition Master.
2. Select the unallocated space.
3. Right click it and select Create partition.
4. Select ext2/ext3 file system from the drop-down menu of file system and click OK, as the picture below.

5.Click Apply.
Please format a ext2/ext3 partition as the following steps:
1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master.
2. Select the ext2/ext3 partition.
3. Right click the partition and select Format partition.
4. You can select file system from the drop-down menu of file system and click OK.

5.Click Apply.
Please delete a ext2/ext3 partition as the following steps:
1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master.
2. Select the ext2/ext3 partition you want to delete.
3. Right click the partition and select Delete partition.
4. Click OK.

5.Click Apply.
To recover a deleted or lost ext2/ext3 partition:
1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master.
2. Select Partition recovery wizard from Wizard on the main menu.
3. Following the wizard, the deleted or lost ext2/ext3 partition will be listed as the picture below.

Please wipe a ext2/ext3 partition as the following steps:
1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master.
2. Select the ext2/ext3 partition.
3. Right click the partition and select Wipe partition.
4. Set the number of times to wipe the partition. You can set to 10 at most. And click OK.

5.Click Apply.
