The terms 32 bit and 64 bit refer to the way a computer's processor (also called a CPU) to handle information. The 64-bit versions of Windows can utilize more memory than 32 bit versions of Windows. This helps minimize the time spent swapping processes in and out of memory by storing more of those processes in Random access memory (RAM) rather than on the hard disk. This, in turn, can increase overall program performance.
Since Windows 7 64 bit system has become more and more popular, how can we insure good partition management for Windows 7 64 bit?
In fact, Windows 7 Disk Management has the ability to shrink and extend system partition, but there is no obvious improvement of Disk Management tool in Windows 7 which is nearly the same with that of Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008. So some advanced partition functions in Windows 7 are still unavailable, especially, it cannot move the partition. So to extend a partition, you have to delete the partition that behinds the one you want to extend. It cannot meet our needs. Is it possible to partition Windows 7 64 bit system in a safe, easy or fast way? The answer is yes.
As a magic partition manager for Windows 7 64 bit partition, EaseUS Partition Master can resize Windows 7 both 32 bit and 64 bit partition with very simple operations by its Resize/Move partition function. Moreover EaseUS Partition Master can extend NTFS partition without reboot.
