Similar to Windows Vista and Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 also has the ability to resize partitions, which means you can shrink partition and extend partition. To shrink any volume, right click on the desired volume and select "Shrink Volume" option. The Shrink Volume window will pop up and then specify the amount of space you want to shrink.
